Unhappy Guild Wars Saddness - Please help ;(

Ok i don't really know if this belongs in the Questions & Answers section but ive had guild wars:Nightfall for about a half a year now and at first i loved it then i stopped playing for a while and then fell in love with it again and reached level 20 basically the instant i reached level 20 the game was dead to me. Basically i really wanna get back into the game but i find it really hard to. And this is really weird and almost impossible to solve but any help of to how i can get back into loving the game would be awesome. Its not a huge deal to me i would just really like to get back into the game again

When you reach level 20 thats when the game really begins. You can experiment more with builds and attempt high level areas.
Perhaps you might want to finish the game. If you don't like doing that then this game probably is not for you.

Change Guilds until you find one that is active when you are playing. It makes the world of difference. Might take some time to find one though.

While I do not wish to advocate Guild hopping, being in an Guild that is inactive during your playing hours is not useful for anybody.

There is lots of content waiting for you after you reached level 20.
As Ultra Mega stated: That is where the game begins (and the fun if you ask me).

- Experiment with different builds and professions.
- Finish the game. There is still a loooong way to go for you.
- After you finished one of the campaigns you can enter the areas in Hard Mode for a bit of extra challenge.
- Try out PvP (Player versus Player) in Random Arenas, Heroes Battles or if you have Factions in Alliance Battles. Fun to test your skills against other players but it can be sometimes a bit harsh or frustrating for newer players.
- Do a bit of "title work"... being a protector, grandmaster cartographer, skill hunter etc. can be fun to achieve.

But you named the most important thing yourself: Find a nice friendly guild...
Check out the guild forums here or post yourself.
If you play with other ppl. that you find fun to play with ask them about their guild ...

I wish you good luck on your journey and may there be many more fun hours for you in game...

Cheers,
Timebandit

Or try another profession. There are 9 (or 7, or 5, depending on how many campaigns you've got...) more professions GW has to offer. Maybe you just aren't really a Ranger person.

Try an elementalist. They're always fun. Can't say no to making the sky rain meteors and crashing into the skulls of enemies.

Experiment with builds, explore the lands, kill everything in sight, do the missions, collect Elites. I could go on, but those are things you might wanna do. Don't forget that EotN is coming out in umm. 29 days? There's gonna LOADS of new stuff in the Far Shiverpeaks and Asurian lands and other places, so just wait till that comes out, and don't quit.

R/Me is good for some areas.
R/Mo is good for others, R/N is good for AB at times, but going as toucher is too simple, no real challenge.

Go cap elites, change your builds, go into highlevel areas and farm them for fun, then reduce the partysize and see if u still can do it.
Go for protector, do all missions for masters.

There is a lot to achieve still.

And there are plenty of good guilds out there, just takes a bit of time and effort to find the right one.
Ask questions to recruiters, don't like the answers, ask another one.
